Inspired by our trip to New Orleans, we held a Mardi Gras party in March. We had gumbo, shrimp etouffee, red beans and rice, cornbread, hurricanes, and a king cake! We even made our own Mardi Gras masks! I'm far right with my yellow and purple feather mask. Debbie is wearing a peacock feather mask that I bought in New Orleans. She did finish her mask later on though...
